Getting Started

My brother in-law has been considering starting up a car audio/interior business but has not yet taken the plunge because of the lack of proper computer software/equipment. He’s been working diligently for quite some time now helping install car stereos and fixing people’s car interiors and has created somewhat of a buzz around his community. I feel like he is almost there and so the next step for him, I think, would be is to look into buying a Satellite internet service.
If he had something like that then I believe he would be well on his way to attaining a successful business. He has been using a friend’s computer to network and handle most of his business matters, which I feel is unfortunate. A few months ago, I decided one afternoon that I would call him up and schedule an appointment for us to meet and discuss his business direction and what he would need in order to get things rolling. We met at my house because I have a satellite internet connection and I wanted to show him and explain to him the importance and benefits of using this type of service, and what it could do for him and his business. When we entered my office the first question that he asked me was, who is your service provider? Excited that he asked me, I told him Hughes Net is. To give him a thorough examination of their back round, I took him to nationwidesatellite.com so that way he can see for himself what it was all about. I could tell right off the bat that he was very interested in it.
However, the one thing that was noticeable to me was the fact that he and I both knew that he was not going to be able to afford it right away. So, it was up to me to present him with hope. He is quite computer savvy and has an extensive back round in computer technology so I know that with the help of Hughes Net satellite internet service, he can become very successful. I felt deep down that if I go ahead and make an investment on him then in the future it would pay great dividends for his whole family. So, I presented him with the offer to have an old dell computer and monitor of mine, and also, that if I paid for his first two months of satellite service then he would thereafter take over the payments without question. In utter amazement, he stood up and slowly gave me a hug and said with a lump in his throat, that by doing this, I am saving his career.
I told him that I want to help him get started without any agenda, because I see great potential in him and his business. I told him that after the second monthly payment it is on him to take over or else he will risk dealing with cancellation. He said that two months will give him plenty of time to save and work this all into his budget. So now with a computer of his own and Hughesnet satellite internet on his side he can be well on his way to new beginning.
